Gary I. Tobian, MBA, CBI joins Alpine as a proven executive with a track record for creating growth and increasing profitability. Mr. Tobian started his sales career at 3M Company where he attained 10 national recognition awards for sales achievement. During eight years at 3M, he was ranked as one of the top sales representatives in his division and was the all time top dollar producer in the teleterminal product line at 3M. After an eight-year career with the 3M Company, Mr. Tobian became Vice President of Moniterm Corporation, a high-resolution video imaging company, with responsibilities as General Manager over its Wasatch High Voltage subsidiary. He later became the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Utah Medical Products, Inc., an OB/GYN and critical care medical device company, and was the architect for the company’s dramatic increase in profitability. Mr. Tobian was also General Manager of Powder River, Inc., a steel fabrication company. After several years as an executive in a software technology company, Mr. Tobian co-founded Alpine Business Brokers. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Law and Society from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Mr. Tobian has received the Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association, of which he is a member.

R. Neal Westwood, CBI comes to Alpine with a strong background in customer relationship, technical management, and small business ownership. He has participated in a number of start-up companies, including 4 of his own, and has been through the acquisition process from both sides of the fence many times. For 13 years, Mr. Westwood was President and Chief Software Engineer at Omicron Genetics, Inc., an innovative and cutting edge software development and service company, which he founded. He also brings personal instructional experience to Alpine from developing and delivering technology courses at Utah Valley State College. Mr. Westwood joined Pinnacle Software Corporation at its founding. He has the unique ability to communicate and understand customer needs. At various times during his 9 years, Mr. Westwood was responsible for the company's Business Development efforts, prospecting and closing OEM partnerships, training and working with the company's sales teams, closing major accounts and training both inside and outside sales representatives. Mr. Westwood also created the Professional Services Division. Mr. Westwood was personally responsible for the establishment and growth of the company's Customer Service, Technical Services and Professional Services groups, including the training and mentoring of new sales representatives. He was responsible for conducting due diligence and analysis of many potential acquisitions. Mr. Westwood has started, managed and sold several Utah businesses. His energy and outgoing nature allows him to easily approach customers in any industry and quickly understand their needs and match solutions that work. Mr. Westwood has received the Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association, of which he is a member. Mr. Westwood is fluent in Spanish. |

James R. Nelson, CBI joins Alpine with twenty years experience in sales, marketing and management. Mr. Nelson started his sales career at 3M Company and was the recipient of fourteen national sales awards for distinguished sales achievement. During his sixteen years with 3M, he managed 3M's Document Systems Divisions business in the Wilshire corridor region in Southern California and then the Packaging Systems Division business and channel partners for thirteen years in the Western Rockies while based in Park City, Utah. His prior experience in the Environmental and Geotechnical industries, where he contributed to numerous Environmental Impact Reports, broadens his scope and business understanding. Mr. Nelson has experience as the operations and sales manager for Claudia Klawe & Associates in Salt Lake. Mr. Nelson graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Studies. Mr. Nelson is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and has earned the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary designation. Scott H. Simons, MBA, CBI joins Alpine with several years of sales and management experience. He was a top manager and sales executive in the direct sales industry. While at Icon Marketing, Mr. Simons managed several locations throughout the U.S. including Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, Phoenix, and New Jersey. While over the St. Louis office it was recognized as the top office in the country. In addition, Mr. Simons was ranked as one of the top four salespersons nationwide two consecutive years as well as the company’s number one recruiter both years. Mr. Simons has had experience with small businesses ownership and operations. He is a founding member and owner of a specialty trailer manufacturing and Distribution Company as well as a sporting goods importing business. Mr. Simons also has international experience and has lived and worked abroad. Mr. Simons graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business and with a Master of Business Administration degree (emphasis entrepreneuring) from Utah State University. Mr. Simons is a member of the International Business Brokers Association and has earned the prestigious Certified Business Intermediary designation. Mr. Simons reads, writes, and speaks Vietnamese. |

Kevin M Davis, CBI joins Alpine after several years experience as one of the top performing sales executives and managers in the direct sales industry. At Alliance Marketing he managed and led offices in Detroit, New Jersey and Sacramento. While in Detroit and Sacramento, he ended both years as the number one salesman in the company. Mr. Davis was responsible for developing a tele sales program for Apex Alarm which expanded security system sales into 35 states. Mr. Davis also has owned and operated an auto brokerage. Mr. Davis graduated from Utah Valley University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Information Technology. Paige Carver comes to Alpine with 20+ years of business ownership and sales experience. After receiving her degree in Business Management from Kansas State University, with an emphasis in Finance, Ms. Carver owned and operated a manufacturing company of baby products which was purchased by Graco. Following her manufacturing venture she went on to successive business ventures including a financial services company, 3 restaurants including fast food and full service fine dining, and an online internet sales company. In her words, "I love helping entrepreneurs discover that perfect match and helping current business owners move on to their next projects. It makes all the hard work worth it. I have loved business since I started my first company at age 19. There is nothing like being the one in charge and controlling your own destiny. Mike Miller joins Alpine with a history as a top performer in the sales and marketing industry. As the Online Marketing Manager at Enhance Interactive, Inc, Mr. Miller was responsible for maintaining and improving all online business development partnerships resulting in an increase of 300+ new partners and over $6M in annual revenue. As a manager in the direct marketing industry at LSI , Inc, Mr. Miller was the top first year sales rep and consistently achieved success while helping to recruit and train the top performing team in the company. Mr. Miller has also run an auto brokerage business and consistently achieved an average of over 10% ROI on his transactions. Mr. Miller earned an Associate's degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University and is currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Technical Sales. |

Michael Tobian joins Alpine with experience in sales and small business ownership. Mr. Tobian founded and owns Utah Live Bands, one of the most successful entertainment brokerages in Utah. He also owns several of the busiest and most popular event bands in Utah and the surrounding states. In this capacity, Mr. Tobian books, manages and performs entertainment for concerts, corporate events, upscale weddings, and music festivals all over the country. Mr. Tobian studied music performance as a Jazz Studies music major at Brigham Young University. There, he played lead tenor saxophone with Synthesis, BYU's premier jazz big band. With Synthesis, he toured Europe and performed at some of the worlds largest jazz festivals. While a student, he received many national awards and honors. As a local professional, Mr. Tobian is one of the first call musicians for live performances, recording sessions and commissioned jazz writing and arranging. He has performed along side many of the biggest names in the music industry including Bobby Shew, Randy Brecker, Osmonds 2nd Generation, The Five Browns, Wycliffe Gordon, Brian Bromberg Alex Boye, Bob Mintzer and many others. In addition to live music, his saxophone playing can be found recorded on TV commercials, CDs, music albums, commercial productions and other projects. Mr. Tobian is a well known, in demand teacher and clinician in Utah . Mr. Tobian is a part time faculty member at BYU and directs the BYU Jazz Jab Band and Jazz Combos. He has also taught saxophone lessons for the UVSC School of Music. He teaches several award winning high school and Jr. high bands at "the Music School " in American Fork and has maintained a private lesson studio there since 1999. He is a member of the International Association of Jazz Educators. Michael earned his degree in Jazz Studies from Brigham Young University. |

Merrill K. Roberts joins Alpine with 30 years of small business ownership. He is a Utah native and lifelong resident and was raised by an entrepreneur, public service minded father. He learned to work as a very young boy in his father’s Ice Manufacturing Plant and later skippered a fishing boat in Alaska as a Commercial Salmon Fishermen. Mr. Roberts has owned 4 businesses, including: a seafood processing company, a national distribution company, an archery accessory manufacturing company, and a specialty furniture manufacturing company. He managed sales of his products to nationa,l independent dealer networks and designed and developed innovative product lines. As the owner, Mr. Roberts was responsible for all aspects of the operations, from initial company concept to profitable operation. Mr. Roberts studied Manufacturing Technology/ Business Management at Brigham Young University with specialized training in SPC and quality assurance. Mr. Roberts is also fluent in Spanish. |

P. Cory Hogan joins Alpine’s team after successfully selling his own business, Upscale Downstairs, through Alpine Business Brokers. Prior to selling, Mr. Hogan designed innovative marketing programs in the construction-remodeling industry, allowing his start-up company to quickly become the local market-leader and winner of multiple awards, including the prestigious Best of State 2 years straight. During this time, he also funded and managed his company's multi-million dollar, triple digit annual growth. He has earned a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and Business from Brigham Young University, where he also enjoys occasionally speaking and teaching. Mr. Hogan also enjoys fly-fishing and writing. |

David R. Harman, Sr. is currently the founder, owner, and Principle Broker of CENTURY 21 Harman Realty, Inc., which is a full service real estate company serving the Wasatch Front. Mr. Harman’s company is part of the CENTURY 21 International Network of Realtors, which is the largest commercial real estate company in the country. Established in 1977, Mr. Harman has built his company from a small firm to 25 professional Realtors specializing in the many different areas of real estate. Mr. Harman is also the founder and owner of; Harman Apartments, a commercial real estate management company established in 1972; H&H Development, a residential and commercial development company established in 1980; and Harman Real Estate Academy, a real estate license school established in 1985. Mr. Harman is a former president of the Utah County Association of Realtors and was a four year director of the Utah Association of Realtors. Mr. Harman received his Bachelors Degree in Communication and his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Brigham Young University. He is a certified Real Estate Broker Manager, a certified Real Estate Instructor, and is a Graduate of the Realtor Institute.
